Golden Member Award

 

Golden Member Award – Submission Rules

  1. Eligibility
     
    • Must be an active, dues-paying member of FBLA during the current membership year.
       
    • Only collegiate/professional chapters in good standing may submit nominations.
       

  1. Nomination Process
     
    • Each chapter may submit one nomination per month.
       
    • Nominations must be submitted through the official online form or by the deadline provided.
       
    • Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.
       

  1. Submission Requirements
     
    • Completed nomination form with member’s full name, chapter, and contact information.
       
    • A written statement (250–500 words) highlighting the nominee’s contributions, achievements, and dedication to FBLA.
       
    • Optional: Up to two supporting documents (letter of recommendation, resume, or evidence of accomplishments).
       

Judging Process

  • Nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee of state officers, advisers, and professional members.
     
  • Submissions will be scored based on:
     
    • Member’s demonstrated impact (40 points)
       
    • Level of involvement across multiple areas (30 points)
       
    • Quality of narrative statement and supporting evidence (20 points)
       
    • Professionalism and completeness of submission (10 points)

  1. Evaluation Criteria
     
    • Demonstrated leadership and active participation in FBLA activities.
       
    • Positive impact on chapter, state, or national initiatives.
       
    • Commitment to the FBLA mission and values.
       
    • Professional development, community service, or mentoring contributions.
       

  1. Recognition
     
    • Golden Member Award recipients will be recognized each month on the 15th. They will also be acknowledged at the State Leadership Conference (SLC) and featured in state communications.
       
    • Certificates and a congratulatory gift will be presented to the winners.
       

  1. Deadline
     
    • Submissions must be received by the 1st of every month
       
    • No extensions will be granted.

Amazing Adviser Award – Submission Rules

  1. Eligibility
     
    • Nominee must be a current FBLA adviser in good standing with an active chapter.
       
    • Advisers at both the collegiate and secondary levels are eligible, depending on award guidelines.
       
    • Advisers may not nominate themselves.
       

  1. Nomination Process
     
    • Each chapter may submit one adviser nomination per year.
       
    • Nominations must be submitted using the official form by the stated deadline.
       
    • Late or incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.
       

  1. Submission Requirements
     
    • Completed nomination form including adviser’s full name, school/college, chapter, and contact details.
       
    • A written statement (500–750 words) describing why the adviser deserves recognition. Suggested topics include:
       
      • Dedication to members and chapter success.
         
      • Mentorship and leadership development efforts.
         
      • Contributions to state or national FBLA initiatives.
         
      • Innovative projects, community engagement, or chapter growth.
         
    • Up to three supporting materials may be included (letters of recommendation, media coverage, awards, or program highlights).

 

Judging Process

  • Nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee of state officers and professional members.
     
  • Entries will be scored based on:
     
    • Quality and clarity of nomination statement (25 points)
       
    • Evidence of adviser’s impact and leadership (35 points)
       
    • Chapter growth, involvement, and success under adviser’s guidance (30 points)
       
    • Completeness and professionalism of submission (10 points)
       

  1. Evaluation Criteria
     
    • Impact on student growth and professional development.
       
    • Chapter achievement and participation in FBLA programs.
       
    • Demonstrated leadership, innovation, and service to FBLA.
       
    • Commitment to the FBLA mission and values.
       

  1. Recognition
     
    • Amazing Adviser Award recipients will be honored during the State Leadership Conference (SLC).
       
    • Recipients will receive a certificate/award and recognition in official state communications.
       

  1. Deadline
     
    • Nominations must be submitted by 03/05/2026.
       
    • No late submissions will be accepted

Outstanding Chapter Award – Submission Rules

  1. Eligibility
     
    • Open to all active FBLA Collegiate chapters in good standing with the State and National organizations.
       
    • Chapters must have paid membership dues by the official deadline to participate.
       

  1. Submission Requirements
     
    • Each chapter must submit a completed Outstanding Chapter Award form by the posted deadline.
       
    • Applications must include documentation of qualifying activities (examples: event programs, photos, flyers, meeting minutes, service logs).
       
    • All submissions must be typed and uploaded through the official submission portal (PDF format preferred).
       

  1. Qualifying Activities
     
    • Chapters must complete activities in the following categories to be considered:
       
      • Membership Growth & Engagement (e.g., recruitment campaigns, retention programs)
         
      • Leadership Development (e.g., officer training, workshops, member mentoring)
         
      • Community Service & Outreach (e.g., service projects, fundraising, partnerships)
         
      • Professional Development (e.g., guest speakers, career fairs, networking events)
         
      • FBLA Involvement (e.g., participation in state/national programs, conferences, competitions)
         
    • A minimum of one documented activity per category is required.
       

  1. Judging Criteria
     
    • Completeness and accuracy of the application (10 points)
       
    • Quality and impact of activities (40 points)
       
    • Innovation and creativity in programming (20 points)
       
    • Level of member participation and engagement (20 points)
       
    • Adherence to submission guidelines (10 points)
       

  1. Deadlines
     
    • All applications must be submitted no later than 03/05/2026 at 11:59 PM EST.
       
    • Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
       

  1. Recognition
     
    • The winning chapter will be recognized at the State Leadership Conference.
       
    • Additional awards of distinction (e.g., Silver/Gold Level Outstanding Chapter) may be presented to chapters meeting excellence benchmarks.
       

  1. Disqualification
     
    • Submissions missing required documentation or categories will be considered incomplete.
       
    • Plagiarized or falsified entries will result in immediate disqualification.
